My name is John Clay. I have been educating people of all ages and skill levels for over 35 years. I am trained and experienced as an educator.
I started my career as a certified teacher in Washington State. I have taught all levels from K-12. I also had the honor of training Developmentally Disabled Adults for numerous years. In the late 1990s, I became a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) as well as a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) and taught Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) courses. Also, I was an Educational Specialist at The Rescue Mission in Tacoma, WA. I developed and delivered classes on computers, economics, history, civics, math, and writing. I also helped people earn their GED.
I have also created and delivered numerous courses on the US Stock Market. I have a unique and engaging teaching style that students enjoy. All stock market instruction is done online, both live and recorded. In-person instruction is available upon request but is currently limited due to travel restrictions.
My interest in the stock market started as a hobby in the early 1990s. I read every book I could find, tried every piece of software I could afford, and went to every seminar I could attend. I made money. I lost money. But in all of that, I learned lots. I desire to combine my teaching background with my stock market knowledge and experience to provide you with the very best education and assistance possible. I want to help you achieve your goals.
Currently, I am an online educator teaching Chinese children English. I intend to teach full-time for Intrepid Educational Services, home of The SPX Investing Program, as soon as possible.
